Nick Nanda

CIO & Founding Partner

Nick was previously a partner and portfolio manager at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. (GMO). He joined GMO in 2003 as a quantitative researcher working with one of the founders of the firm, Jeremy Grantham. At age 27, after successfully managing GMO’s anti-risk portfolio through 2008, Nick became one of the youngest partners in GMO's history. By the time he departed in 2014, Nick was one of four portfolio managers responsible for managing in excess of $50 billion of asset allocation and absolute return mandates.

 

Nick earned his B.A. in Economics from Oberlin College and is a CFA charterholder. He serves on the Board of Overseers and chairs the Investment Committee of the Boston Ballet, is on the Advisory Board and serves on the Investment Committee of Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art, and is also a non-voting member of the Investment Committee of the Grantham Foundation for the Protection of the Environment.
